Rebecca Oaks, Circuit Clerk, announces that the Circuit Clerk’s Office will be open on Saturday, October 26, 2024, from 8 AM to 12 noon and Saturday, November 2, 2024, from 8 AM to 12 noon, for absentee voting in the November 5, 2024 General Election. You may also vote by absentee ballot during our normal business hours, Monday – Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.
The “LAST DAY” to vote an absentee ballot in person is November 2, 2024.
We encourage those who need to vote by mail to call our office immediately, as time is running short to request an absentee ballot by mail. The absentee-by-mail process is lengthy therefore we want to allow you an adequate amount of time to do so. All mailed absentee ballots must be received by 5:00 PM on November 13, 2024, and postmarked on or before Election Day to be eligible to be counted. No absentee ballots may be hand-delivered to anyone.
All voters who go to the voting precincts on Election Day, as well as, voters who come in the Circuit Clerk’s Office to vote by absentee will be required to show a photo ID.
The General Election is Tuesday, November 5th and your polling place will be open from 7 AM to 7 PM.
