BELMONT, Miss - The Belmont tennis program received a significant boost recently, thanks to the generosity of the Belmont Athletics Foundation, which gifted the team with a state-of-the-art tennis ball machine.
This new equipment is set to enhance the development of players by allowing them to engage in repetitive drills on their own, an important tool for improving consistency, technique, and footwork. For coaches, the machine provides a welcome opportunity to focus on working with individual players without the constant need to feed balls during practice.
The addition of the tennis ball machine marks another step forward in the program’s ongoing effort to equip student-athletes with the tools they need to succeed, both on and off the court.
