Sara Jane McNatt, 86, of Tishomingo, MS, passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2024, at her residence.

Known to all her friends and family by “Nanny”, she always put the needs of others before her own. Mrs. McNatt was a cosmetologist by trade who enjoyed her profession and the shop conversation. She was a member of Tishomingo Baptist Church and was a pillar of the Tishomingo Community. She was known as sweet but sassy and enjoyed welcoming the community into her home. Her greatest accomplishment in life were her faith in God and her family which also included her friends.

She is survived by her children, Wesley McNatt (Cathia), Josh McNatt (Kayla), and Edward Steve McNatt; her grandchildren, Brady Butler (Lexi), Gage McNatt, Belle Moody, Karmen McNatt, and Maddyx McNatt; her brother-in-law, Jerry McNatt (Bonnie); and her sisters-in-law, Vonnie Ledgewood and Shirley Vaughn (Randy).

She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Quthel McNatt; her parents, John Byrd and Ruby Elizabeth Lomenick Haines; her son, Gerald “Bud” McNatt; and her daughter-in-law, Vickie McNatt.

Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with the arrangements. Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, July 18, 2024, from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M., at Tishomingo Baptist Church. Services are scheduled for Thursday, July 18, 2024, at 3:00 P.M. at Tishomingo Baptist Church, officiated by Bro. Rusty Fair. Burial will follow at Snowdown Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joseph McNatt, Darel Holloway, Jacob Holloway, Casey James, Brady Butler, and Shane Wiggington. Donations may be made in Mrs. McNatt’s honor to the Tishomingo Baptist Church.
