After several games being postponed due to weather this past week, the Lady Braves were able to get back to business, playing host to Walnut on a game moved up from Thursday, due to the rainy weather expected later this week.
Walnut jumped out to an early 3-0 lead before the Lady Braves hitters took over. In the bottom of the second inning they scored 7 runs, and they never looked back. Freshman Pitcher Gracie Wilson added another win to her resume with the 13-4 victory. Madelyn Long cleared the loaded bases with a double, in her first game back from basketball season. The JV Lady Braves also picked up a win over Walnut 10-1.
