Families in need of assistance this holiday season can now apply for the South Tishomingo County Angel Tree program. Applications are available for pick-up and can be returned to Kaila Timbs at Community Spirit Bank in Belmont.
To be eligible for the program, applicants must live in Dennis, Belmont, Golden, or within Tishomingo County. Families will need to provide several documents, including a photo ID, proof of income and residence, a list of monthly expenses, and Social Security cards for every household member. Additionally, school-aged children must be enrolled in a Tishomingo County school or show proof of homeschooling.
Applications will be accepted until **October 25**, and no late submissions will be allowed. For more information, interested parties can reach out via email at **southtishomingocountyangeltree@gmail.com**.
Once applications are reviewed, families will be notified of their acceptance or denial by mail.
This program helps ensure that local children in need have gifts to open this Christmas, continuing a cherished tradition of community support during the holiday season.
