BELMONT, Miss - After more than 30 years of hard work and dedication, the Belmont Cardinal Marching Band has achieved a monumental victory, earning a **SUPERIOR Rating** at the 2024-2025 MHSAA Marching Band State Evaluation competition. The accomplishment marks a historic moment for the band and the Belmont community, which rallied to welcome the group home with a police escort and enthusiastic fans lining the streets.
The celebration in Belmont was electric as the band rolled back into town, greeted by cheers, honking horns, and waving signs. Supporters stood on sidewalks, eager to honor the students and their exceptional achievement.
Led by band director Susan Parr, the Belmont Cardinal Band delivered a performance that judges praised for its musical excellence, precision, and artistry. Parr, who has been instrumental in the band’s recent rise, was beaming with pride as she reflected on the hard-earned accomplishment.
