Pride of the Tribe earns a Spot in the State Championships
The Pride of the Tribe has qualified to compete in the MSHAS-MBDA State Marching Band Championships, set to take place on October 26, 2024, at Pearl High School. This prestigious competition brings together the best high school bands from across Mississippi, with a champion named in each of the seven classes. Our band earned its spot in this event by excelling at the MSHAA Regional Marching Band Evaluations.
These achievements reflect the countless hours our students have dedicated to perfecting their performance. The Pride of the Tribe began their journey with two and a half weeks of intense rehearsals in the summer heat before school started, followed by regular after-school practices to refine their show.
The dedication, passion, and relentless effort of our students, instructors, and supporters have been instrumental in reaching this level of success. We are incredibly proud of their accomplishments and look forward to cheering on the Pride of the Tribe as they compete for the state title. Thank you to everyone who has supported us along the way—your encouragement means the world to our band!
